Eric B. & Rakim

Widely recognized as one of the most prolific groups in Hip-Hop, Eric B. & Rakim laid the foundation for the genre through their debut album Paid in Full, produced by Zakia Records. The album reached platinum certification and has been named one of the greatest albums of all time by Rolling Stone. 

Cutmaster D.C

Brooklyn native and pioneering MC, Cutmaster D.C released Hip-Hop classics "Brooklyn's In The House", "The Night Before Xmas", and "She's Good to Go" under Zakia Records.

King Sun

Signed to Zakia Records in 1989, New Jersey rapper King Sun released his debut album, XL, which contained the hit record,"Hey Love", which peaked at #69 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
